  • School Council meeting

    Fri 20 Apr 2018
This week the School Council met to consider the revised Behaviour Policy that will be presented to Governors for approval again this term.  Their task was to ensure what is written in the policy is what actually happens in school and to edit any aspects they felt needed to change.  It was decided that a shorter, more child friendly version should be created to be shared with pupils.  The School Council were pleased that the policy include the Calm Brain approach as they described how this helps them to be in the right places in their heads for learning.  A final addition that was made came from an idea from one of our Early Years members, he said "sometimes we just need to give a pat on the back."  This has now been added to the policy to remind us all that sometimes a simple well done is just what is required.
