• School Games Mark Award Winners 2018

  Congratulations to all the pupils at Short Wood. We were awarded the Gold School Games Mark for the fifth year in a row this evening. Thank you to all the staff, pupils and parents for their continued support raising the profile of sport at Short Wood.

  

• Double Olympian Ben Simons at Short Wood

  Ben Simon's came to visit Short Wood Primary School today. Lots of children went crazy about it. Adults and children all loved Ben coming. We all asked questions and Ben showed us his big, fantastic jump.

  At Golden Leaf Ben let some of us have a go at jumping. Ben is our great hero.

  

• Celebrating Short Woodies

  Every week we have a special celebration assembly in which we present pupils with a Golden Leaf to celebrate what is great about them.  A child from each class is selected each week. You can see this week's award winners below.

  On Tuesday this week pupils from Short Wood represented Telford schools at The Shropshire School Games in Shrewsbury.
