    School council reps took the opportunity to meet the Wellington Mayor today to get some advice on how to run successful meetings and make a difference. The school council captain and vice captain learnt about how to develop a democratic approach and how to control the council to ensure everyone’s voice is heard. They are looking forward to putting what they have learnt into action at future meetings.
  • In the shadow of the Wrekin

    Class 11 treated us to an insight into their topic for this term. They took us back in time to consider what life on the Wrekin was like before and after the Romans arrived. Speeches written by the pupils gave the pros and cons of joining with or fighting against the Romans.

     

    Songs and drama engaged the audience on this local history study which has included trips with Arthog outreach and work with English Heritage.

  • Year 3 & 4′s Art Exhibition

    Last term Year 3 & 4 children worked very hard producing story books and their very own Art Exhibition after a visit from Lynn Chapman (childrens author). Parents were invited along over two days to view all the work completed. For the parents who unfortunately were unable to attend, we have produced this short movie showing you a selection of the work exhibited.   • Class 9 Assembly triumph!

    A big well done to Class 9 for a fabulous Fantastic Mr Fox assembly today. It was dramatic, every word could be heard and your costumes really brought it to life
