Class 11 treated us to an insight into their topic for this term. They took us back in time to consider what life on the Wrekin was like before and after the Romans arrived. Speeches written by the pupils gave the pros and cons of joining with or fighting against the Romans.
Songs and drama engaged the audience on this local history study which has included trips with Arthog outreach and work with English Heritage.
Last term Year 3 & 4 children worked very hard producing story books and their very own Art Exhibition after a visit from Lynn Chapman (childrens author). Parents were invited along over two days to view all the work completed. For the parents who unfortunately were unable to attend, we have produced this short movie showing you a selection of the work exhibited. I’m sure you will agree Short Wood have some very talented young artists. Click on the link below to view movie.
