  • Author Luke Temple visit

    Luke Temple will be visiting Short Wood on Monday 18th May, all of the pupils from Year 3 to 6 will experience Luke’s presentation. He will be introducing his latest ‘Felix Dashwood’ series. Please take a look at his website www.luketemple.co.uk.

     

    On Tuesday 19th Luke will return to school for a book signing so pupils will have the opportunity to buy a book and meet Luke.

  • Harry’s Day is fun all the way!

    A huge thank you to the Telford Bubble Football Team for a morning of fun and laughter. Year 5 and 6 have had an excellent time playing football with a difference, the staff were quite keen to join in too!

  • Year 4 Trip to Engenuity

    Year 4 have been to Engenuity where they made Roman Chariots. First they learnt about friction and thrust, before using battery packs, motors and switches to complete their electric vehicles. Below is a short video about their work.

  • PTA meeting – All welcome

    A PTA meeting is planned for Wednesday 13th May at 2pm in the school hall. This is a chance to meet other parents, carers and friends of the school. Everyone is welcome, so please bring a friend. All ideas are welcome. Free refreshments will be available.
  • U9s Win Shropshire County Cup

    The Under 9s football team has beaten St Giles Primary 4-0 in the Shropshire Boys County Cup. The final, played at Shrewsbury FC’s Greenhous Meadow stadium on May the fourth, was described by Coach Butler as one of his proudest moments. He went on say  he believed there would soon be more trophies to fill the trophy cabinet.

    The team were a credit to the school, with the game even receiving a mention on Radio Shropshire.
