Science
At Short Wood Primary School we follow the White Rose Education scheme for science. Our science lessons will be linked to our Forest School and outdoor learning sessions this term.
This term in our science we are looking at Plants. The children will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of plants. We will closely observe a diverse selection of plants, which can will include flowering plants, fruit, vegetables and herbs. We will think about how to sort and group these plants using different criteria or categories. For example, they could group plants based on their colour, smell or other physical features.
