On Wednesday 6thth of June 2018, 10 of our Year 5 children had the chance to visit Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing centre.
“We had a great day with a range of activities including a tour around the whole place and a lot of fun maths! The staff were very helpful and taught us all about the process of making engine parts. At the end of our adventure, we had one last activity, which included teamwork, where we needed to build a structure using cogs and other items. We were awesome Short Woodies and won the challenge, triumphing over 2 other schools!”
What a fantastic opportunity for our children to showcase their maths talents and a big thank you to Mrs Sergeant for organising the day!
