Coach Butler and his group visited a mine shaft this morning. At lunchtime they went to an old barn for lunch, made a fire and had some smores. In the afternoon, they canoed.
Mr Brench and his group went to a mine shaft and built a shelter during the morning. In the afternoon, they visited a castle and did some conservation work.
Mrs Waterhouse and Mrs Jarvis and their group explored a slate mine. They travelled up through five chambers. All children showed excellent resilience and communicated well with each other.
