Peace Painting
Children and teachers thought about what ‘Peace” means to them and how their experience contrasts with other children around the world. The children were able to work with artists and think about and discuss the images, memories and ideas they have about peace, working outside the group were also inspired by nature.
Every child produced original ideas and from sketches, they went on to create dynamic paintings using acrylics on canvas. The work was very high quality and was displayed as part of the community peace picnic event.
