Eco Warriors
Today three Short Wood Eco Warriors took the journey down to the new housing estate by Glebe street. We had the opportunity to look at the new green space that needs developing and to begin to share some of our ideas for how the space can be designed to support the local wildlife, insects, flora and fauna. In the coming weeks children and their families will be invited into school to share their ideas for the space and we will draw up plans to be shared with the Housing Plus Group. Here are a few pictures from today.
November 2024: Lovell have contacted the Eco Warriors at Short Wood and asked for our help to design an eco friendly outdoor area in their new Glebe street development. The children will be visiting the site and working alongside outside professionals to design the space. Check back over the next few months to see how the project develops.
