Good morning Year 6! Happy Star Wars day
We hope that you have had a lovely weekend and are feeling rested, refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
You should continue with your daily tasks and make sure that you are looking after your seeds! Have they started to sprout yet?
Here are your activities for today:
1) Find the area of each room in your house
Area = length x width (remember the unit of measure will be your unit squared)
Do you have a tape measure at home which you can measure with? If not, use a stick or a piece of string and invent your own unit of measure instead of metres and centimetres.
2) Spend some quiet time sat in your garden or even just on your front door-step. What wildlife can you see? Birds? Bugs? Cats?
Sketch some of the beasts that you see.
Send us a message on class dojo so we know that you're safe and well, and keep sending in photos and message to firstname.lastname@example.org We all love to see what you've been doing!
Stay safe and have fun!
