Year 6

Good morning lovely Year 6s smiley

Today, in addition to the recommended daily activities, we would like you to try the following ideas.

1)  What’s in your kitchen cupboard?

Empty the food from your kitchen cupboard and order packets and tins by mass. Then add together the total mass of all the food in the cupboard – think carefully about the units of measure as you may have to do some conversion.

2) Look out your window at 3 different times today and draw what you see using only pencil lines. Are there any differences in what you could see? Is the light different? How could you show that using the shading skills we have learned in school?

Don't forget to send us photos of your work - and any other fun activities that you get up to! We are all missing you and would love to see some of the things you have been doing! You can email us on: shortwoodies@shortwoodprimaryschool.com

Keep checking on Dojo as well as your teacher will be posting a short video each day!

Take care, stay safe and have fun!
