Year 6

Good morning Year 6s smiley

Today we would like you to try and complete the following activities:

1)  Use newspaper cuttings or cuttings from flyers that you've had in the post to create a Lockdown poem. Cut out random words and then put them together to make sentences. Remember that poems don't have to rhyme and the lines can be really short. Think carefully about the effect of your words - how can you create a mood to show what you are feeling? Aim for at least 3 stanzas (verses).

2) Can you then create the same mood in a piece of art work? This time, use images and colours from the newspapers or leaflets and arrange them to create an abstract collage which shows your emotions and feelings.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Stay safe and have fun!
