Year 1

Good Morning Year 1 children and welcome to Tuesday! Here are the learning activities that we would like you to look at today.

Phonics

Look at this story and write a list of the all of the different ee sounds. How many ways to make the ee sound can you spot?

Writing

Yesterday you created a picture story plan for your castle in the clouds. Today we would like you to have a go at writing the story. Use your plan to help you write what happens in the beginning, middle and end of your story. Remember to write in sentences and use the correct punctuation. Send in a picture of your story so that we can enjoy it too!

Maths

How many different ways can we make 7?

7 + 0 = 7

3 + 4 = 7

7 - 0 = 7

10 - 3 = 7.

Outdoor Learning- Fairy houses

When you are in the garden enjoying the sunshine or at the park, make a little house that is fit for a fairy creature. Think about the natural materials you can use and how you can decorate it. Remember it only needs to be small! Here are some ideas to help you...
