Year 1

It's Friday!!! Well done for another week of wonderful home learning.

Literacy

Yesterday you made a planned a story about a bubble using a story path. Today we would like you to write your story.

Here are some top tips/reminders:

  • Remember to start each new sentence with a capital letter
  • Remember to finish each sentence with a full stop
  • Think carefully about your letter formation
  • Try to write a clear beginning, middle and end of your story.

Once you have finished writing your story you could draw a picture of the places your bubble travels to or the characters your bubble meets.

We will look forward to reading your stories.

For numeracy this week you have been working on telling the time. Today we would like you to use your time telling skills to see if you can solve these time problems.

PE

What does a minute feel like?

How many of these can you do in one minute. (You might need an adult to set a timer on their watch and count your actions)

  • Star jumps
  • Hops
  • Laps around the garden
  • Lie on the floor, jump up to standing

Good luck
