Good morning year 3 and year 4. We hope you are having a wonderful week so far. 

 

Reading

Today we would like you to read your chosen book for 20 minutes. 

Please record your reading in you reading diary. 

As you are reading we would like you to think about your favourite character in the book. 

We would like you to think about:

  • What the character looks like?
  • How the character behaves?
  • What key events happen to the character? 

 

Please use the above key points to write a description of your character. If you have time you could draw a picture of the character and label the key features. 

Times tables

 

Don't forget top go on Times Tables Rock Stars. Try to aim for 10 minutes each day. If you have a problem with logging on or the want tables locking or unlocking Dojo your teacher.

 

For today's task you may want to draw the triangles or write 2 multiplication and 2 division facts for each of the triangles.

 

Spellings 

Please complete the sheet below. If you cannot print the sheet an adult may need to write the words for you to identify the correct one and copy. 

Handwriting

 

Write 1 line of each word. Make sure your joins are clear.

 

Challenge

Write a sentence that contains each word and a conjunction.

 

Topic

 

You have been given a free flight to anywhere in the world. Where would you visit and why?

 

Think about:

  • Where are you going to go?
  • What would you do when you got there?
  • Why do you want to go there?

 

Include what activities you can do there or maybe places you can visit.
