Become a dragon for the day. Where have you been? What have you done? What kind of dragon are you? How have people reacted to you?
We would like you to plan a diary extract about the day in the life of a dragon.
Make notes on:
Where you sleep
What you eat
What you wear
Where you go
Who you meet
How you feel being a dragon ( is it exciting scaring lots of people or actually is it quite lonely being all by yourself?)
The notes will help you write your diary entry tomorrow.
Remember notes are key words and phrases!
Maths
Today your task is to make a cage/home for a dragon.
You will need a big space, you may need to consider going to the park or being in your garden.
Choose a dragon from the top trumps cards you made last week, identify the size of the dragon and then using that measurement identify the length and width of the cage they will need. (Remember they will need some space to move)
Using string, cones, pencils, blocks, things you might have at home etc mark out the perimeter of the cage/home.
Think about a suitable unit of measurement to find measure your perimeter.
Handwriting
Topic
Write your own dragon song to the tune of ‘London’s burning.’
E.g.
The dragon’s angry, the dragon’s angry…
Use equipment (pots, pans, boxes, lids, tubes) around the house to create a rhythm to accompany your dragon song.
