"Pupils become quickly a member of the school ‘family’ and when asked what the best thing is about the school they say, ‘being a Short-Woody’. Pupils are proud of their school and enjoy coming to school."

We work in partnership with parents, carers, governors and the wider community on an ongoing basis. We have an ‘open door policy’ where we welcome feedback, suggestions and new ideas and can always ensure someone is available to discuss any issues that may impact on a child’s education.
We also enjoy excellent partnerships with creative professionals, artists, sports coaches, our local authority, other schools in our cluster and a variety of local businesses. Through these relationships we are able to participate in numerous exciting and enriching events and offer all children opportunities and experiences to shine and be the very best they can be.
