Reception Mural Project

Building Site Mural 2015

Children in reception classes were invited by McPhillips Construction and the Wrekin Housing Trust to visit the local Oakwood development, part of a programme across Shropshire.

Children learnt about how new homes are built as part of the term’s topic This is the House that Jack Built. Children worked some of the site’s machinery and painted designs for the  hoarding. The finished work was praised by residents and an unveiling of the art was in the local paper. Read the full report on Shropshire Live
