We have had an exciting term so far!
Years 3 and 4 have been taking photographs of insects and plants to display in their Art Gallery. They have taken inspiration from Countryfile and the exhibition of wildlife photography at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Year 5 have been learning how to use 6-figure grid references on maps of the school site. They have also made 3D models of the surrounding area using maps of the Wrekin. This has linked to their historical study of the Cornovii tribe-they enjoyed re-enacting what life would have been like on the top of the Wrekin for the tribe!
Year 6 have linked some of their work to their art topic and made natural colour palettes. They are also learning about structures and what shapes make strong dens so that they can design a wolf-hide.
Alongside this learning, they have been enjoying time to explore their own outdoor challenges and work towards their Owl School badges!
