Mrs Doult came into our class to show us a trout, we discussed what a trout was, what was inside, what it felt like, how it is similar and different to us. We then got to touch and explore the trout, looking at the inside, the face, putting our fingers in the mouth and looking at the small teeth. "Smooth, feels bouncy," "strong lines, pink in the middle," "tiny tiny teeth!" "It has fins, to help them swim. It has scales too."
We then got to use the trout to paint and print with, we learnt that to print to see the pattern, that we don't need a lot of paint.
