Autumn Term
Celebrations!!
Literacy:
This term our topic is all about Celebrations. We started by looking at the books Alfie Gives a Hand and Alfie and the Birthday Surprise by Shirley Hughes for inspiration in our writing.
We have also visited Christ Church Wellington and wrote a recount about all the things we have learnt.
Maths:
We started the term looking at number facts. Number bonds to 10, 20 and 100 and we are now beginning to look at strategies to multiply and divide.
Science:
We have been exploring living things starting with our bodies and then exploring nature and the seasons.
We have also had several outdoor sessions and practised songs for our Harvest Assembly.
